Anyone know what font was used for the banner of this site? It's exactly the same as the font used on '86 Bravos. I need to create decals. Also, anyone know what the font was for Magician EX used on '87s? thanks!

Hi looking to buy in survivor condition with decals in the day glo pink color with BLACK Peregrine Master mags. Prefer coaster brake vs freewheel. If you have just the frame for sale we are interested. Also interested in just loose parts too ie screw in fork pegs, seatpost, seat clamp, NOS or reproduction decal set. We also need to help or scans of the bike in question. An actual spec list of what original parts were use as from the manufacturer. Thank you

I have an 86 Kuwahara Bravo Kt Pink. I got it new when I was 10 years old. Had it for 23 years now. Looking to get rid of it. Its in excellent condition, just the front brake cable is broken. Everything else works fine. I found your post and thought I would see if you were still looking for this bike. I can send pics if you are interested.

Hi all,
I recently found an ET Kuwahara Poster on Ebay and bought it. The seller says he has 7 more. If anyone wants it, we can get it for cheaper. I just uploaded an image of the poster. I think the actual posters are about 3 feet long. I could verify if anyone is interested. He claims these are original bike shop posters. Thanks!

Hi there, I posted that when i was completely new to the scene of collecting old school bmx stuff. I've come to notice that on and off these posters will surface and they weren't as scare as I thought. Just keep a look out over Ebay. But it may take awhile, depending on your luck.

All original complet bike from factory way back when. Kuwahara laser lite on the bottom bracket it has stamped T3G3035, the chrome is a lil ruff in spots but no cracks and not in bad shape . areo tubing, seatpost ,handle bars stamped laser lite. Trimed in all original sugino black and silver notched goodies seat post clamp headset, hubs. If you want it make me an offer or if you have any ball park figures on what its worth please let me know... Im not a bike seller hack I love this bike its my only 20 inch from back in my racing days and would like it to go to some body that enjoys this hobbie

I am searching for a Kuwahara KZ-1 frame and fork. It can be in rough shape as long as its not bent or re-welded. I'm looking to build my son a BMX bike. And since I used to ride for the Kuwahara National Team back in the day, a Kuwahara is the only BMX bike for me. Can anyone help me?

Hello all, I'm pretty new to the site having stumbled across the site and only joined up recently. I live just outside of London, UK, so thought i would say 'Hi'...
a bit about my bikes, I've owned an ET (mid model) and a KZ1 for the past 15 years or so when i saw them advertised locally i couldnt resist the thought of owning not one but two Kuwahara's and one an E.T. model which i only ever dreamed of as a kid was too much of a temptation! Alas I sold the E.T. last year to a friend, cheap, as he pestered me continually to sell it to him, then found out he had sold it on for a profit!? hmmm not impressed... having just been made redundant in this economic downturn I've decided to have a garage sale... hence the KZ1 is know up for sale... plus i need the space as im climbing over everything to get to the back of the garage!
My question is can anyone give me a realistic asking price for the KZ1 as im about to ebay it, the bike is in good original condition no dents or cracks, the chrome is fair to good, the wheels are black rim ARAYA and not the UKAI's with comp III copy tires, I have fitted a NOS Sugino chrome 3 piece crank and sealed bottom bracket and NOS Sugino power stem to the original WIN V bars, a new MX1000 (copy) caliper and lever, I have the original MX lever but this is a little tatty. The bike has a lay back seat post and Elina seat which is a little scruffy but other than that the bike is pretty much good solid original example.
Any guidance on price would be much appreciated... or if anyone is interested then please either respond to this post or email me at magoo1929@googlemail.com and I will send photos...

I purchased what I believe to be a Laserlite 3000 frame from Ebay last Saturday for $80. What I need now is a pair of forks for this frame. It would be nice to have the correct forks with the Kuwahara "K" stamped on the dropouts but I will settle for a pair of KZ-1 forks or Tange TRX forks. I'm on a very tight budget so I'm not looking for showroom condition. They will be getting sandblasted and repainted anyway. Can anyone help me out here? Or tell me where to look? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I just thought I'd share my Kuwahara that I built totally from period perfect New Old Stock. I started out with an NOS F&F which had been sitting at a bike shop since the start of the 80's. Then tracked down all the other parts bit by bit.
I went for a gold and blue theme on it. The last thing I want to track down is either set of yellow or blue pads - if anyone can help - I have quite a few NOS Old School parts to trade.
